Visiting Universal Studios Japan was overall a very memorable experience, with several truly outstanding attractions. Rides like The Flying Dinosaur, Hollywood Dream, Jurassic Park and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey were absolutely top level and alone made the day worth it. The theming, organization and general atmosphere of the park are excellent, and everything feels immersive and extremely well maintained. I also appreciated how smooth the experience was with an Express Pass, which really helps reduce stress and long waiting times on the main attractions. Even visiting part of the park on my own, the experience never felt awkward or boring — the atmosphere, music and ride design make it enjoyable even as a solo visitor. In some ways, being alone made it easier to move freely and fully enjoy the attractions. That said, not everything lived up to the hype. Super Nintendo World is visually impressive, but the main ride (Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge) felt overrated compared to the extremely long waiting time. While the environment is beautiful, the queue-to-reward ratio was disappointing, especially when compared to the quality and thrill of other rides in the park. Overall, Universal Studios Japan offers several world-class attractions and is absolutely worth visiting, particularly for thrill ride lovers and Harry Potter fans. My advice is to prioritize the major rides, manage expectations for the most hyped areas, and not hesitate to visit even solo. Despite a few letdowns, it was a great and intense day that I will remember.

Universal Studios Japan absolutely blew me away. I’ve been to both Orlando and LA, and this one was hands-down my favorite. The theming throughout the park felt far more unique and immersive compared to the U.S. parks, truly on a Disney-level when it came to aesthetics, detail, and overall experience. The cast members were a huge part of what made it special. Every single person we encountered was joyful, kind, and genuinely seemed to love being there, which made the entire day feel warm and welcoming. Jurassic Park was a dream come true for me (I’m obsessed with dinosaurs), and having an entire section dedicated to it was incredible. The kids’ area was much larger than expected and absolutely adorable, with thoughtfully designed Hello Kitty and Sesame Street themes. Harry Potter World completely stunned us. The approach alone, walking through a lush path of live trees before entering was magical. Hogwarts itself was surrounded by water and greenery, making it feel peaceful, grand, and incredibly real. And then… Nintendo World. Massive, vibrant, and wildly immersive complete with a Donkey Kong section! It exceeded every expectation. Even the food impressed us. It was genuinely tasty and far less gimmicky than theme park food in the U.S. Universal Studios Japan was an unforgettable experience, and we loved every second of it.

It was Sunday 4th if January!!! I was shocked from the beauty and how big was it!! I arrived at the time of the opening but I did not wait a long line for entering. I stay literally 8 hours from 9am till 5pm I kept riding to many times the roller coaster, my favorite was the "Hollywood Dream" !!!!! Even the snacks stands around so yummy I loved so much also the Harry Harry Potter land! Especially the Hogwarts house

Osaka 2025 was a unique experience with amazing atmosphere. The architecture of the outer wooden ring is spectacular and worth the travel. The mix and set up of country pavilions is well organized. The drawback of the success is that the event is a bit crowded. We will keep found memories of Osaka 2025 !

Enjoyed ALL the popular rides on my day to USJ, thanks to the express pass backdrop which got us skip the line access to rides that had the highest waiting time For all other rides, we used the single entry queue which got me inside the ride within 10-25 minutes per ride. One of the best days of our lives.
